Food Writing in the Food World

Ahhh, Sunday morning. I've just finished cleaning house and posting at Hoosiers Ate My Brain, and now it's time for a little tidying up in the Feed Me/Drink Me kitchen.

** More Great Writing from the Accidental Hedonist: For well-researched articles and updates on under-reported controversies in the food world, make sure you're reading Kate Hopkins over at the Accidental Hedonist. She often tackles ethics, organics, recipes, food news, restaurants, and she's been a rare voice of reason in the foie gras debate.

** Michael Ruhlman at Meganut: The blog, from NYC food writer Meg Hourihan, is one of the best online venues for food writing today. She recently hosted guest blogger and author Michael Ruhlman where he posted extensively and did some terrific writing in general -- especially on foie gras.

** Welcome to the Hoosier Beer Geek! We're always happy to see the food and beverage blog world grow a little bit in Indiana. Welcome to the newest entry, HoosierBeerGeek. The author, Jackson's Daddy, is actually a pal of Jason at Foursquare No. 266. Knowing a blogger can be dangerous.

** The Good Grape: I'm really enjoying everything on The Good Grape, the blog by Indianapolis and Ohio regional wine guy Jeff Lefevre. I'm pretty sure I knew Jeff in a past professional life and it's good to see someone really sharing their passion. He also has a great wine blog list on his page.
