Women's Wine Workshops

Sommelier Lisa Cunningham is re-starting her popular wine workshops for women starting with the first one, on sparklings (my personal favorite) April 11. Fee is $18, at Oakley's Bistro and includes snacks. From Lisa and Oakley's (and a note about the BR Cohn tasting):

On Monday, April 11th at 7pm, we will host the first in a series of our Women's Wine Workshops with Manager/Sommelier, Lisa Cunningham. To kick off the series Lisa will offer some of her favorite "affordable and fabulous" sparkling wines. Each session will feature women in the wine profession including importers, winemakers, distributors, etc. Subsequent workshops are scheduled for 7pm on June 13th, August 15th and October 10th ...all at OAKLEYS bistro. The cost of each workshop is $18 per person which includes the wine tasting, hors d'oeuvres, information and, of course, fun. A Special Tuesday Tasting

On Tuesday, May 2nd from 5-7pm (we've extended the hours), Dan Cohn of BR Cohn Winery will offer a chance to taste the current releases from BR Cohn. Rob Garber of National Wine and Spirits will also be on hand to answer questions. Mark your calendars now for this special treat! As with all our Tuesday Tastings, the wine is complementary and reservations are not required unless you plan to stay for dinner.
