Brugge!

Popped in for lunch yesterday at the new Brugge in Broad Ripple. What fun! It's pretty rare to find a mid-list restaurant with an original concept that's fairly well exectuted but I'd say Exec Chef Neal Brown (most recently from H2O Sushi) and team are getting there. Beglium is the theme in both food and drink -- from crepes to French bread sandwiches to crispe pommes frites with a wide variety of sauces. Belgian beers are well on tap including my favorite summer treat, framboise! Well done! They were a bit difficult to find with only a large metal sign of a glass outside and no visible name, but their location (in the first floor of the Internet Cafe building in Broad Ripple right on Westfield) will be terrific all summer long.
