Farmer's Market Delight!
Ahhh, got up this morning and headed in to the Broad Ripple Farmer's Market -- the first of the year! They've moved to the parking lot just East of the Indianapolis Arts Center and currently have lots of room to grow. Enjoyed a beautiful early summer morning with sun and the intermittent cloud. Lots of lots of fresh flowers and herbs this early in the year. Purchased:
**A big bunch of white peonies -- possibly my favorite flower!
**A big bunch of gorgeous purple irises although they also had the dark red velvet color I love
**Chocolate Bourbon goat cheese from Capriole! My favorite food, possibly ever. And they have so many lovely fresh goat cheese right now along with the favorite Banons and Wasbash Canonballs
** Cilantro Lime Pesto from Jacquie's Pesto. Another favorite. I also picked up a container of her sundried tomato pesto. So so good.
All in all a great morning. Welcome summer!
