Quiz Answer: Broccoli Rabe

I suspect that most of you knew that broccoli rabe isn't really broccoli at all, but an Italian mustard green with tiny broccoli-like buds. While it's most often sauteed with garlic, you'll also sometimes see it listed on a menu or in a recipe as "bitter broccoli", "rapini" or "broccoli di rape". It is not, however, broccolini, which is really just another name for baby broccoli, the regular kind. Oops -- only 54% of you got it right.

Whoops, broccolini is not young broccoli.. it's a cross of broccoli and chinese kale. Just info from one foodie to another!

D'oh! You're right! I double checked every answer but that one. Thanks for the info! I incorrectly, like many other people, apparently, thought it was young broccoli. Thanks for the pointer.
