Getting a Squeeze at Glendale

Is it possible?! Our real smoothie store in the central city? Welcome to 2004! Seriously, it's nice to already see some of the new stores opening in the shiny new Glendale mall. Look for Squeeze on the Keystone side (within full view of LA Fitness) and order a variety of fruit or yogurt smoothies (with add-in supplements like energy boosts, calcium, fiber, or whey protein). Sizes are generous (The Rookie was more than enough of a calorie hit.) And don't forget to try some of the newer-to-Indiana ingredients and flavors like acai berries and matcha.

and all this time, I thought we were *5* years behind everyone else. Better late than never I guess. If you want a truly great (not so sure about healthy) smoothie though, get one from three sisters.

Oh, acai berries! I just saw this yesterday when my husband and I did our bi-weekly "when is Target opening" visit to the ever-changing Glendale. I'm definitely adding it to my try-and-blog.

Actually having lived in major cities (Chicago, Minneapolis) we've found that Indiana is about 10 years behind. ie Crate & Barrel, Anthropologie, Maggianos/PF Changs, Pottery Barn, Teavana, a possible REI. The list grows...don't want to be a debbie downer- so I will say a Squeeze is exciting.

I'm not convinced that late-arriving faux-ethnic chain restaurants are a bad thing; we seem to do ok with the real stuff. With you on Crate & Barrel and REI (especially since Dick's has eviscerated what used to be a credible outdoors selection at Galyan's), though.

Wow, looking at the Squeeze website, it appears extremely Jamba-like. It looks very promising.

The new Glendale Target opens July 23rd, or thereabouts...

I tried a smoothie from Squeeze. I was impressed how clean the store is and the smoothies are out of this world. I've been there four times this week.

Allison,

Indianapolis double the population of Minneapolis.
