And they're off: ACS Awards in Chicago
The folks at Traders' Point Creamery -- and I'd wager a few other Indiana cheesemakers -- are off to the annual American Cheese Society competition today. The conference is in Chicago this year complete with sessions ("Pairing Coffee with Cheese" and "Beer/Wine Smackdown: What Goes Better with Cheese"). There's a cheese sale, a dine-around, more sessions, and of course, judging for those coveted awards. The Fleur de la Terre won big last year, and I'm guessing the Chouda is entered as well. Good luck to our cheesy Indiana friends!
