Indiana Starbucks Closures

I'd been hoping someone else would dig through the list of 600 Starbuck's closing soon and thank the gods, Tom Spalding at the Star came through. He reports two closures -- the Starbuck's on W. 16th Street and the one in Bluffton. (I say as I drink my cup of Peet's coffee from Fresh Market. Ahhh, civilization! Peet's, I've missed you!)

Fall Creek and College is rumored to be closing as well.
Bad news for my hood.

That list of closures contains only the first 50 or so stores that will be closed by the end of July. The rest of the stores, as in the ones you mentioned, may have been notified that they are closing, but will be over the next 6 months. I know that there are other stores who have been told it is coming, and they will get a 30 day notice sometime in the next 6 months.

Does it make a difference that the Fall Creek one is one of the Magic Johnson Starbucks? Just wondering...

After living on Mission st. in SF for the last six years, I'm moving back home to Indy. Knowing that you can get Peet's there makes me very happy. Now if we could only do something about this whole landlocked/no ocean for 800 miles thing....

Welcome back. Man, I'd kill for a real Mission burrito, though.

(It's hard to explain to people here how at business meetings, no one ever ate sandwiches. You just wrote down what you wanted in your burrito.)
