Indiana Blogs

In another shout-out to the Blog Indiana conference, it's a great time to point out a few more Indiana food and wine blogs coming on the scene.

*Kaleidescope Living: This northwest Indiana blogger has been eating local all summer and giving readers a week-by-week rundown of her efforts. (What are the chances of *two* Indiana food bloggers from rural NW Oklahoma?)

*Slow Food Indy: This handy blog is the best place to find up-to-date information, pictures, and even menus from our quickly growing local Slow Food convivium.

*Hoosier Wine Cellar: Brought to you by Allen Dale Olson, this blog brings together wine fans in southern Indiana. Olson, from the Story Inn, is an old school legend in the Hoosier wine world.

*The Dish Blog: Indianapolis Monthly's Dish newsletter is jumping on the blogging bandwagon with a couple of reviews a week covering tasty treats and smaller eateries around town.

*2 Days Per Bottle: Prolific blogger dhonig gives us his impressions of wines on day 1 and 2.

I would like to add Victoria Wesslers local food blog www.goinglocal-info.com to the mix. She is very passionate about the slow food movement and is a very enthusiastic supporter of the local producer!

You bet -- Actually, I've covered Going Local in the past and they're linked in the column at the right (as these new blogs will be). And look for some more info her on her "Going Local Week" next week.

Oh, well it sure is. Duh. Renee, have I actually had the honor of feeding you yet?
