Winter Markets

Saturday is the last day of the summer/fall season for most local farmer's markets including the Broad Ripple Farmer's Market, but fear not. There will be lots of winter market action at Binford, Traders' Point, and the new winter market at 25th and Central.

Keep checking websites for vendor updates:

Binford Farmer's Market: Saturdays -- November 22, December 6 and December 13, 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., same location but indoors in the former Entemann's space.

Trader's Point Creamery: Saturdays -- November through April, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

Indianapolis Winter Farmer's Market: Saturdays starting November 15th, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the SW Corner of 25th and Central. This is a brand new market and should help some of us downtowners out! (Plus, bonus, just a couple of blocks from The Goose.)

Plus, while I was pulling together info for this roundup, I found Going Green Mama had already done a similar post including information on Bloomington's winter market. Her blog looks like a good stop if you're in to sustainability and local eating.
