Buco di Beppo: Just How Authentic Are They?

As we learn in this excellent analysis, not very if you follow their billing as authentic Southern immigrant cuisine. Without excerpting the entire post, I can only say that the folks over at Accidental Hedonist did some reasonable research and have some interesting things to say about the histories of some Italian classics -- and how most of them are, well, not Southern.
