Tony Bourdain Shares His 5 Favorite Dives

I'd suggest a tour of American dives should be Tony Bourdain's next show, but I'm not sure he'd live through it. Besides, it sounds like he covers the seedy underbelly of the food world pretty thoroughly in his next book. From acerbic criticisms of overly precious restaurants to distinctive observations on food from his travels around the world, Bourdain continues his streak as the "anti-celebrity" chef and most reviews credit him with doing a great job of it. Look for The Nasty Bits, out Tuesday from Bloomsbury USA.

In the meantime, Bourdain shares his Top 5 Favorite Dive Bars with Men.Style.Com complete with old strippers, PBR, and great NY scenery.
