If you've been following the Whole Foods saga, then you'll love the latest developments. If not, just search on "Whole Foods" in that handy little search box at the top of this page and you'll see the archived posts here at Feed Me/Drink Me on the whole crazy deal.

The latest? The IBJ reports the developer for the site at 86th and Keystone is having some difficulty putting together the land for the deal. These small glitches aren't uncommon from what I've heard, but to date, he still has no commitment from Whole Foods. Reportedly, the popular yuppie grocery is looking at other locations in town (and being recruited by developers armed with demographics info.) Two other possible locations? Ironically, Nora on 86th across from the Target plaza where Wild Oats is (which is pretty funny considering how hard the NORA neighborhood association fought the store at the Keystone location) and a space at 71st and Binford. No announcement has been made by Whole Foods about an Indianapolis store but they're reported looking.
