Check out The Dish

If you like interesting local food news, make sure you sign up for The Dish, a new weekly e-newsletter from the folks over at Indianapolis Monthly. It won't replace the gossipy snark of Feed Me/Drink Me, but it will help keep you in the loop. (Hey, I can't eat everywhere.) What did I learn in this week's edition?

Broad Ripple stand-by Mezzaluna is closing soon to be replaced by a Noodles & Company. I also recently noticed that the Seafood Shack on Westfield in Broad Ripple (across the street from Bazbeaux Pizza) was something else now. I had eaten at both of these places in the last year and wasn't impressed. Many of us speculated the other evening on Neal Brown's success and the consensus was that it might have a lot to do with the lack of upscale options in Broad Ripple (other than the stand-bys, Broad Ripple Steak House, Ambrosia, and to some extent Corner Wine Bar.) But I digress.
