Mexican Food and More!

That Cory, he's quick! I heard about one of these new places just a day or two ago and hadn't checked it out yet. But Cory at Property Lines has the scoop on a new Mexican place, Cabo's Mexican Grill, opening soon on East Street across from the bank, and a new Caribbean place going in on New Jersey by the Citgo station.

From Cory:

Cabo’s Mexican Grill, is slated to open next week at 132 East St., across from Fifth Third Bank. The other restaurant, which would serve Caribbean food, is planned for 123 N. New Jersey, site of the old Best Rentals building (pictured). The owner of a nearby Citgo station, Moe Hanif, is a partner in both restaurants. He used to own restaurants in Monticello, Indiana.

I tried Cabo's today for lunch and it was very good. No liquor license but the food is pretty authentic and will satisfy the mexican cravings of downtown worker and residents. I had the pork burrito and guacamole and chips. Everything tastes homemade and isn't too hot/spicy but has lots of flavor.
