Q: Chocolate or Cheese
The other night while crowded in a cozy bar for dinner, I couldn't help but overhear the conversation at the table next to me -- and the spirited answers! The question? If you had to give up one or the other for the rest of your life, what would it be? Chocolate or cheese? What a question! So, I pose it to you, dear reader. What would you give up? Chocolate or Cheese?

Why don't you ask me to give up wine and bread while I'm at it? I don't know that a life without cheese or chocolate would be a life worth living.
Chocolate, hands down. Cheese is so much more versatile.
If you asked me a year ago, I definitely would have given up cheese. But having immersed myself much more in the world of cheese (and pairing it with wine and beer) there's no way I'd give it up before chocolate.
Option three: suicide.
Easy choice - chocolate. Don't get me wrong, I like chocolate. But I love cheese. On food, by itself, melted, solid... in any form it is truly one thing I do not want to give up.
All I know is that I'm glad this is not a decision I actually have to make. I agree that cheese is more versatile, just had blue cheese for dessert last night, but chocolate is...you know, chocolate. It just is. Like Buddha.
I could give up chocolate so easily.
Chocolate easy peasy!
Chocolate, no problem. My enthusiasm for basic cheddar completely outpaces any feelings I have for all of chocolate. Add all the other cheeses and the contest is like a not-that-funny joke.
Chocolate, in a heart beat. Cheese, never.
Chocolate, in a heart beat. Cheese, never.
Pfft. Bye-bye chocolate. You can't put chocolate on a pizza or have a grilled chocolate sandwich. Not even close.
Chocolate in a heartbeat!
I'd give up chocolate. During the year, I eat so much more cheese than chocolate. (And then, since I'd be eating so little chocolate, I wouldn't feel so guilty when i sneak a bite ... or two ... or three ...)
Chocolate. And I would never look back.
