Friday Open Thread

Hey, it's snowing! (I've decided the only way to stop hating this weather is to embrace it! It's snowing! Yea!) Are you at the office? Taking a snow day? At home with sick kids? Here's my Friday question: What are you having for lunch today?! And why? I can't decide what to have.

Probably just a salami sandwich. With some mustard lite mayo.

I'm at the office. BOO!
I just got back from Fazoli's & had terrible service. You know that you have to pay 25 cents to get unlimited breadsticks now and they give you that little table sign so the breadstick chica knows who to give them to...well, we never got anymore breadsticks before we were ready to leave and it was at least 20 minutes. But I'm a customer service snob and after a conversation with 'the man behind the counter' I walked out of there with 5 breadsticks to go.
I'm going to go breathe on my coworkers now.

I have to go to the post office. Maybe I'll go do that and get a sandwich at The Goose.

Just had a chicken/artichoke pannini at Paradise for the first time. Not bad.

Grabbed a roast beef/horseradish cheddar sandwich while I was at Target getting supplies for my sick kiddo. Sandwich was nothing to write home about but while I was at Target I DID pick up two new jars of P.B. Loco peanut butter (Raspberry Dark Chocolate and Jungle Banana) so I AM looking forward to my afternoon snack: I am going to put some of that Jungle Banana on white bread, slice some banana on it, maybe add a little honey or some chocolate chips and grill that puppy! Can't wait!

There was a parking space *right* in front of India Garden downtown. It was a sign that I should have lunch there, so I did.

In the office. We went to Noodles and Co. They now offer tomato bisque. It tasted cinnamon-y, but was good. Perfect for this lame-o weather we're having.

My bad, gastroholic...I forgot to add that I also had a side of grilled mush (last night's polenta). No way the Boston blueblood's do mush.

No salami for me. I had a nice salad of spinach, ham, bell pepper, romaine, and bleu cheese dressing.
