Michael Symon's First Dinner Impossible
I've never been a huge fan of the Food Network show Dinner Impossible, but I might be now. Cleveland's Michael Symon (who took over for the last host fired over resume issues) *rocked* last night. Aside from this guy's food, he oozes personality. And even better, it's great to watch a highly-organized chef keep his cool, even when the event planner tells him three hours before his deadline that the client has added an appetizer station or that they're running a bit behind schedule. Plus, I just dig his trademark mechanics shirt. First venue was a high end dinner at Alcatraz in -- the shower room. (Only Symon would make a puff pastry napoleon with "SOAP" stenciled on it in powdered sugar.)

Did you see the season sneak preview at the Wildwood, NJ boardwalk. It was awesome and Symon's dessert was bacon dipped in fudge and covered in nuts...AWESOME!!! Chef Symon has been a fav since the next iron chef show.
