Happy Thanksgiving: Ordering Fresh Turkeys

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving today! Yes, yes, those wacky Canucks are a month early, but it's a great way to get in your own holiday spirit with the American version right around the corner. (Can you believe it?) To ensure you're thankful for how well you're eating on November 27, don't forget to pre-order your happy, healthy bird.

Goose, The Market: Chris is bringing in free-range turkeys from Indiana's own Gunthrop Farms. Pre-orders online only for pickup on Nov. 22 (Plus bonus instructions on how to brine your bird.)

Joe's Butcher Shop: For your folks in Carmel, Joe's is taking orders for fresh, all-natural birds for the holiday. Pick-ups start after 2:00 p.m. on Nov. 23. Order online.

There nothing quite like a fresh turkey you brine yourself. You won't believe you're eating the same bird.

Both of these orders can also include Herbal Bliss Basting Butter and/or Cranberry Kumquat Chutney from Country Mouse City Mouse! It's amazing what a difference a quality bird makes!
