The Oceanaire/United Way Clam Bake!

What a perfect way to end the summer! For those of you who didn't know, the best kept secret in downtown party venues is the roof garden on top of the former LS Ayres building at 30 S. Meridian. It's a great place for a party. The building now houses The Oceanaire and office space and among other things and it looks like someone's got the keys to the roof. Chef Ryan Nelson and his crew are hosting a good, old fashioned clam bake for the United Way of Indiana.

Enjoy lobster, clams, and mussels (and chicken for you non-shellfish eaters), as well as all the clam bake trimmings from cole slaw to corn on the cob. Open bar, open food, a Sunday afternoon, on the roof, and for charity. What could be better?

4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
Sunday, September 17
Ayres Building Roof Garden
$100 per person (inclusive)

(Tipped off by Terry Kirts and sleuthed through a couple of other folks, but I can find no mention of this event on the United Way website. If someone has a web pointer, feel free to add it in Comments.)
