Opera Lite at Endangered Species Chocolate

How can you turn down a tour of a chocolate factory? For an interesting and unique event, join Indianapolis Opera on Tuesday at the factory for the Endangered Species Chocolate Company. This local, environmentally-friendly chocolate company supplies organic and free-trade friendly chocolate to specialty stores, groceries and markets nationwide. (My favorite? The Milk Chocolate with Pecan Praline.) They're opening their doors on Tuesday to attendees of I/O's Opera Lite promoting the upcoming season opener, Carmen.

Attendees will meet the chocolatier, Bruce Reinhardt, and tour the facility, as well as sample chocolate along with wine and snacks. As a bonus, you'll hear music from the upcoming performance. I can't promise Oompa Loompas, but golden tickets are only $7.

5:30 - 7:00 p.m.
