Holy Buffalo, Batman!
Look! Before and after shots of my weekend -- bison and bison burgers from Cook's Bison Ranch just outside Kendallville. Went up for their annual open house and got to meet most of the Cook clan plus see part of their Indiana herd of North American bison. (We hear Dave Tallent is working on some recipes with Cook's meat.) There were face painters, signing groups, Native American dancers and more! Go eat some bison today -- good and good for you!

I had a bison burger at the Broad Ripple Brew Pub for lunch yesterday, it was awesome!
